        a friend of mine had a bunch of gifts for her employees in her car. Someone stole all of them.

        Do you have Pay Pal? I'll send you some money to help out. It won't be much, but I'd like to try.

          Sorry to hear..hopefully if the case is assigned to a good detective you may at some point have some sort of closure to it. Tracking returned items should be possible if the local agency is supportive and does some "leg work"..Does not help right now, but it really puts into perspective the reason we celebrate this time of year.
          Merry CHRISTmas all...

                    Personal Property away from premises on your homeowners policy is the only thing that would cover the gifts in the truck, BUT unless he spent a lot of money on gifts then it will never meet up to the deductible on the policy more than likeley - sorry to hear this

                          There ought to be stiffer laws for jackarses that do this around Christmas. If jail time any other time is 18 months give them 36 instead :mad;

                            I picked up a package at Northern Tool several days ago. The person who helped me load it asked if I was going straight home. Said the bad guys are watching the store parking lots and following people to see if they stop somewhere and leave the truck so they have an opportunity to steal stuff. So watch it out there. Theives are becoming more sophisticated.

                              Vehicle policy is covering the broken window and door latch that they jammed open too. As for the presents.... Although it's a lot of money to me it's not going to be enough to cover the deductible, as has been stated by several already, and I have to go and try to make Christmas happen again. Presents aren't the reason for the season, but when you work and do everything to be able to provide the things that your kids wish for and are able to do so and then when it gets taken from you.... well thats the part that hurts cause there is no way I can buy those gifts 2x.

                              Merry Christmas to ALL!!

                                I know what your going through. We were in Ft. Worth at the first of the month Christmas shopping. We had one last store to go in and was through. My wife was so excited she never gets it done in one weekend, except this year. We were in Academy shopping for our son. When we get done and start to leave we noticed that we were robbed. They got all the presents, an IPad and a gps. Luckily our homeowners insurance covered everything minus the deductable. So I know what your going through but keep your head up and thak God thats all they toke. Those items can be replaced, it's not easy, but you can not.

                                Merry Christmas to You!!!
