My grandparents had their Tahoe stolen in SA last week in the Mamacitas restaurant parking lot. It was in the FIRST handicapped spot next to the front door in broad daylight. They say SA is getting bad. Sorry to hear of your loss. Don't worry Karma is a *****!!!

That's weird! The Pappadeaux's(sp?)and Pappasitos here in Austin is the same way. If you leave stuff in your vehicle, it will most likely be gone when you get back to it. Most of the parking is behind the restaraunt. I have had several friends who have had their vehicle broken into there. I love the place but I never eat there just because of the reputation they have of having burglaries.

Kinda makes you wonder what the officer was doing that he could not hear your window being busted out. Sorry for your loss, but don't expect the police to do anything about it.

I saw your post on FB this morning and it made me sick. I am sorry for your loss, but they didn't take your heart and love for your family, so your family still get a great a great gift from you.

Well, I wish them a Merry Christmas. I pray they spend next Christmas in the slammer! Sorry for you and your family. If the receipts were with the gifts they will return them for the money.

I am in charge of security for a hotel in Houston. Our parking garage got hit early Tuesday morning, about 4 cars total. These thiefs took alot of stuff our guests' just bought. It was not a good morning. Good news is that they were caught that night and we were able to get all the stolen items back to the owners.
It is that time of year these THUGS are out.
Sorry this happened to you, hopefully they will get caught and you can get the items back.. Karma will catch up with them soon.

Typically, I don't think auto insurance covers contents without a specific rider (which most people don't get). His homeowners personal property section may cover the contents, but it might be eaten up by the deductible and make it not worth filing. I lost the contents of a travel trailer to a deer lease fire. It was covered by homeowners, but after applying the deductible, I didn't get much.
