Who Wears Snake Boots?

I wore them religiously the three years I hunted in Mexico. Riding a fourwheeler I could overtake the snakes faster than they could retreat. Even though we were close to the border I knew I was at least an hour away from any quality medical care. Not worth finding out what the other answer is.

I NEVER go out the the ranch without them. It's cheaper to get a pair than to go to the hospital. Heck, the wife loves it when I wear them around the house!

by the way WiLL Academy has snake chaps for about 30 bucks. same protection for much less cost

I wear them all season. I do a lot of still hunting and do come across rattle bugs once in a while

I wear them any time i'm at the lease. Last year we were loading a buddy's hog on a 4 wheeler about 1 a.m. when a small copperhead struck his boot. He didn't even realize it until he was riding back to camp and felt what he thought to be a stick slapping his boot. We have also had a few close calls with water moccasins. I hate snakes!

I wear my chippewas pretty darn often! Warm or cold because he do such a great job in cactus, mesquite, or briars depending on where your at.

You mentioned never seein a snake in Central TX...I Killed two rattlers in South Bell Co. last yea, one in mid November!

Wear my danners year round, been hit once in my life on the right side while quail guiding. Now they never come off!!!

I wear them every time I go out. Even this time of year. Like the protection from thorns and cactus. I usually wear my chipps when its warmer and these Irish Setter boot in cooler weather.

I have a pair of rocky snake boots and the Justin snake boots. The rockys r the best boots I own.
