Buck impaled on fence

My girlfriend found this buck impaled on her fence in Austin near Dripping Springs. It's a really nice buck...sad to see it die this way. She said that this was the 3rd deer that has been killed by the fence. She took it to the Austin Zoo and they ground it up to feed the lions, etc. Really impressive buck for this area.

Terrible way to die. Had one at Rockport Country Club do that when I worked there. Unfortunately he was still alive when I found him. Had to call the GW to come dispatch him. It was not a pretty sight.
