    AR-15 Forums?

A few of us have just dove head first into the AR world and are loving every minute of it! I know quite a few of yall here on the GS are shooters. What forums do you prefer and why? One of the guys is still trying to convince himself that he needs one.

I also would like to know what your shooting?

He is on this forum as well, so any and all input is apreciated.

I think AR15.com is stupid big. I buy and sell on there bit that is about it. I am not shooting nothing but Spikes tactical. Let your buddy know I can hook him up if he is ready to get one.

I used to post a lot on Defensivecarry.com and Sigforum.com. Those are the only gun forums I've liked. Arfcom (AR15.com?) was good back in the day...like 8 years ago...but really went down hill. Most of them have little sense of community like TBH does...Sigforum is the tightest I've found, but it's more of a Sig shooter's forum than AR-15's Now TBH is all I frequent. I've gleaned about as much firearm and reloading knowledge from the interwebs as I ever could, and the side talk isn't that great, so I'll just stay here

There is no other forum I have found that moves as much info as the GS. It seems that just about everyone dabbles in just about everything. You can always count on the somebody knowing where to point you here.

While just about any one on the GS is a buddy, this one is no the particular one I was talking about.

                      Welcome MARKJASON72

M4c seems to have expanded from a fighting weapon forum to more well rounded with hunting sections added recently. You will glean a great deal of info there, but your search function should be the first place to ask because just about everything that can be asked has already been asked mutliple times. The stickies at the top of the general and technical forums are from industry leading mfrs and experienced gunfighters so thats the second place to look. Its best to learn the platform before ever dropping a single dime on this new tinker toy for grownups because there is a lot of junk out there!
