anybody know an outfitter with a landowner tag or a good outfitter in an OTC state, I'm looking for a hunt under $10,000 but I never remember about or want to mess with the draws and the application process. A wall tent hunt would be wonderful with realistic chance of 330"+ bulls.

Kinda getting up there like New Mexico, just didn't expect it I guess.

Hell I have about $6000 coming back to me if I don't draw anything. $5100 of that is coming from Colorado.
I think I added it up the first year and I spend around $1500-1800 non refundable on apps and points in all the different states per year. I have points in
Colorado
Wyoming
Montana
Nevada
Arizona
Utah
Also put in for New Mexico and will probably put in for Idaho next year for sheep or goat.

I look at is as a long term investment. In 8-10 more years I will have a good tag to draw every year in a different state each year.

Observation on Colorado Statistics for 2016. We hunted unit 71 2nd Rifle last year. Hunted for a week with 6 guys all over the unit and spoke to numerous camps in different areas. We only talked to one camp that killed anything and that was a cow.
Stats show 116 Bulls and 33 Cows killed. I could be wrong doesn't seem anywhere close to accurate to me.
I have attached the link if anyone else wants to review and see if their observations match the harvest estimates.

I have some access to landowner tags in New Mexico Unit 18.
2 Bulls and 2 Cow tags for $5000.00 for all of them. It is a private land only hunt but there is a ton of country to hunt. That price comes with a day that someone will show you the ranch but its basically a DIY hunt other than that.
I would suggest this hunt be done with a rifle around the first of October. It is lower type elk country and it can very thick in some places but when you find a good one he could be 350 inches or better.
If you need further info just PM me.
