I figure this show is for the generally uneducated population about wild pigs, not for the people who know how and what to do with the pigs. People in big cities like New York and such probably think this is the way it is done.

We used to cut hogs all the time on the farm when they reached about 20-30lbs. It made for some fast weight gane and good eating. No more fighting, or getting cut up. Where y'all think the Rocky Mt Oysters come from? LOL!!!!!!!!!!!

The women and that dude caught more hogs than campbells did in a month of shows and with there own dogs that roll out and hunt, cancel campbells and keep the Texas hunting chicks in Florida until they send the campbells to hog hunting school, if you count up the 52 years campbell claims he has been hunting hogs it dont add up quite right, some remember the screwworms and when there were no deer or hogs, nobody has really been hunting hogs for 52 years like they hunt them now, I still remember when they first showed up on our ranches and it was not 52 years ago for sure,,, whats up with campbells using the Messkin word over and over insulting all mexican americans of Texas and Mexico??? He would never get away saying that on a real south texas ranch with Mexican hands for sure, they would toss him in the water trough for sure, and clean the spit off of that nasty wore out dodge too while u are at it Jerry!!

Just a note on when hogs showed up in Texas.. I been killing them in S. Texas for over 50 years and my Dad was killing them more than 75 years ago, so they been here a good while..

As for the Lady Hoggers... well we'll see but I expect it won't get any better

didnt watch the show, but didnt have to. this show has some fairly attractive women running around doing "manly" things regardless of their skill or knowledge in the matter. This is a sure fire recipe for success. BECAUSE look at how many people on this forum are talking about it. I am sure it is all over every other hunting forum today too. so in terms of marketing, this show has done exactly what it was intended to do.

valid content is not required to generate a buzz for yourself and stay pertinent to the masses. see kim kardashian, paris hilton, or any other star that is famous because of their constant media presence.

I quit watching when the tall chic biatched out the guy for not explaining to them where he was going when the dogs got on a hog and he ran off. I got enough women telling me what to do I couldn't stand having them doing that to me while hunting.

X2 and If they were really hog hunting women they should have known better when the guy jumps out of the gator and starts running that means there's a hog caught. Come on now. And I think they were griping because he caught it and they should have because it's called "lady hoggers" I think it's all crap

it was funny. I was cleaning my meat, and my neighbor (not a hunter doesnt own a gun) just a typical san antonio south sider.

came out and asked if I had the 3 hog heads in the fridge still. I said yes(freezer). (one is to be mounted, and the others I am looking for someone to make fresh tamales out of) he then started "educating" me on hogs. basically quoting the beginning of most hunting shows. that hogs can be 4 ft tall, and 800 lbs. with 10 inch cutters, and there are millions just in texas, and they are deadly... HAHA...

as I am cutting up my deer from last week. he goes "you dont watch much tv do you" (always in my garage messing with deer or my bow, or rifle or quad or truck or something) I said not really. only thing worth watching on TV anymore is sports. ( I do have a TV in my garage )

He then continues about how great these hog shows are. I then told him I think all the people on those shows are panzy's and are doing nothing for population control.

I told him last year I got near a 100 hogs by myself. and that was only going out once or twice a week...

he shut up after that and changed the subject.
