This is the exact same one I've been looking at. chambered in .260, 6.5 creed, and .243 with HS Precision stock. Pretty sweet gun if you ask me. Maybe you can get the 6.5 and and I'll get the .260 and we can compare notes.

Man I researched that thing for hours... Sat up late at night and compared ballistics. Finally decided not to get it. Your better off with a 7mag or 7rum. These guns can be close to as flat as the 6.5 but carry the energy alot better.

I ended up getting Savage to build me my own creation. It's basically a model 10 field police rifle but instead of in 308 I had it made in 7mag. Accue stock and trigger bull barrel and ported up front. It's a mean gun. Have not shot 1000 yards yet but I'm sure it will do fine.

Dont wont no mag bro. Nothing against em and Ive shot plenty monster mags and the recoil isnt an issue wt me. At one point if it wasnt a magnum I wouldnt even look at it. But not now... I remember once after shooting a friend of mine's 30/378 its all i could dream about. Just all at once fell outta love with mags...

It's a great round. I am looking for one in a store right now. I am also going to build one. Savage has three rifles in 6.5 Creedmoor and Ruger is making the M77 Hawkeye, a target model and a few different #1's in 6.5 Creedmoor. T/C also has two models of the Venture in it. And if you want to spend a lot Cooper has one too.

It is not a screamer as it is only running about 2900 fps out of the muzzle. But, where this round excells is down range. It stays supersonic out to 1400 yards.

Hornady is offering two different AMax match loads, a 120 gr GMX, a 129 gr SST and a new i think its a 120 gr interbond.

Supersonic at 1400 yards. So you're saying it's almost as fast as my Bowtech?

Out of curiosity. Bout were does a 140 grain 7mm rem mag go subsonic?
