East Tx LDP's

I always see on this site when East Texas is mentioned the "If it's brown its down", or " Shoot him before he is poached or before your neighbor gets him", and other comments always come up. I know the comments are sometimes meant to be a joke but I think many people not familiar with East Texas believe it to be exactly that way here. I just wanted to post a few pics of a few bucks that have been killed in East Texas this season. Not everyone in East Texas thinks this way. Please feel free to add your pics of East Tx bucks taken this season.

Where in Cherokee County do you hunt, I'm on a place about 5 miles east of rusk?

We have some pretty good bucks on cameras and I saw a nice 8 pt opening weekend of rifle season, but did not get a shot.

All are from Cherokee County except for the third picture. It came off of Davy Crockett NF. The buck on the hood of the truck was shot on a neighboring lease but I think its Cherokee County also.
