I think you will find the new Badboy XTs are much better than the old ones. Lots of power, much better suspension. I would also look at the Ranger EV.

i would go gas just from the fact the price points are real close, longer travel range, higher speeds and more payload capacity. i plan on buys the new john deer xuv 550 when it comes out simply because i cant afford the xuv 825i.

My .o2 worth... Unless you need 4 wheel drive, the lifted gold cart is the way to go. They are relatively cheap at around $3000 used and you can accessorize all you won't and still not hit the cost of a BBB.

I can only compare what i've ridden in and own

I had a buddy with a badboy the older version and I have a stealth. Not even close my stealth has much more power and is more offroad then his.

Now the xt is a different deal, if I had to do it again I would ride in them and ride would probably be the deciding factor. One thing about a electric buggy is that they are rough ride . . .. . . kind of shocking when you think about how your going half as fast as a ranger.

Ranger EV all the way. My buddies grandpa bought one last month and that thing rocks, its on my want list for sure. Quiet, pretty quick, and can run up to 50 miles on a charge. Im gonna wait and see how his batteries are in a year or two but when I go electric this will probably be the one.

The Polaris kills them all. It is awesome.

I have heard the EV has had some issues. Hopefully they will get them ironed out eventually. Until they do, I wouldn't want to own one (unless it was CHEAP).

We have a 2010 Ranger EV and it is the most awesome thing in the world.....WHEN IT WORKS! I would say that it works about 30% of the time. Something VERY wrong with the charging/powering unit. It has been in the shop (10 times in a year? and we all know how fast ATV dealerships work on products... now multiply that by 100 because no normal ATV mechanic knows ish about electric vehicles) more than we get to use it. It is currently "broken". It drove me to my stand last Saturday and left me there. Lights come on but no one (power) is home. Very irritating. Once we get it "fixed" this time, we are selling it. The breaks also are VERY sqeaky when they get wet or damp-- totally forgoes the point of having a quiet vehicle when you hear the breaks sqeaking from 1/2 mile out. My fiancee says he will NEVER own another electric vehicle. (Had a bad boy before this). I loved the electric vehicle idea, quiet, stealthy- but they need to perfect it before they go selling it to the public. I am truely sad to have to go back to a loud rhino but at least our old rhino has never left me anywhere.
