If you cant feed call, just make a series of short cut down quacks. Feed call is a little over rated anyways, most of the feed call's sound like a flock of mallard's chattering overhead. Incorporate some nasally gadwall quack's and a few short teal tweet's. Way too many duck's make it through due to over calling.

I had to laugh out loud at this. Can't offer any advice, just tell you to keep practicing.
I was in a blind one morning in a rice field near Katy, and there was another group not too far away. After flaring several flocks, one of the nearby hunters asked very politely, but veeerrrry loudly, "WOULD YOU MIND NOT USING THAT PARTICULAR CALL?" I put the call in the shell bag and didn't blow it again in a blind until I could dugga dugga ticka ticka better than a duck. :-)

You can get a lot more confidence out of a whistle than a feed call...
And remember, wingtips and tail feathers !!!!

I say gidda gidda into the call, but its not goin to be somthing you can master in 3 weeks. Everyone I know that calls says something different. The best addvise i have is just pick the one that you can say into the call the best and stick with that. You have to train your tounge and vocals on that sound. Start slow, dont try to get ahead of yourself by tryin to go to fast. Like shooting your bow after you get tired, does more bad than good.
I used to allways have a call in my truck and practice while driving. Hope this helps good luck.
Are you blowing a single reed or a double reed call??
I think the single reeds sound better but are harder to feed call with!
