some are saying to open yahoo mail on the web, go back to around september 15th or so, with the emails that are in your in box and start trying open each email on the web...many are stating that they are finding emails that would not open in the interface within the inbox, once they went through and either deleted or if they could move, move them to a different folder, their phones were able to finally pull down the emails.

Thanks for the update Mary. I haven't experienced any of that with my Otterbox but will know what to do if I do start having problems with mine. That wasn't as good as I thought it might beI was ready for a really blonde moment!!!!!!
I don't know how you would have known it wasn't a problem with the phone.

Helping a friend I found this that worked
I had the same problem, here's the fix:
Go to yahoo.com and click the 'i forgot my password' .They'll email you a link to reset it and you should be good after that.
I have no idea why, and I have no idea if its pure coinsidence, but it just randomly decided that my passwords (i have 2 yahoo accounts) wern't going to be acceptable anymore.
Furthermore; I found it odd that when I reset my password to exactly what it used to be, it said it was 'invalid' so I had to make it something else.
Good Luck

Got it working...here's how.
Logged in to mail.yahoo.com on the www. Typed username and password and as my mail loaded there, it also loaded the other. Problem solved.
But NOW...while looking for a phone number in contacts, I find that is a bit of a mess. I have a separate contact file for each different number/email/address on quite a few people. Yikes!!!
