I hit the high spots of this thread and had to laugh. I was at this game. I was at the game 2yrs ago. Tech fans are the epitome of classless. They were booing injured Texas A&M players. They were yelling obscenities at Aggie fans in the stands.


This clown heckled that group of Ags the whole game.



This guy is "that guy". He was flipping the bird to Ags in the stands below him and even made a couple of rood comments to me.


I was sitting next to a 50 something husband and wife during the first half. I spoke to both of them early. Very nice couple. I say first half because he was thrown out of the game right before half time because two tech fans next to them opposite me snuck tortillas into the game and were throwing them. A police officer came up and asked the older gentleman to come with him. He was kicked out of the game. His wife didn't know what was happening. He called her from outside the stadium and said he had been thrown out for throwing tortillas. The two guilty fans heard her conversation on the phone and knew what was going on. She then left. I slid down and asked the two if they knew what they just caused. One said "That was classic."

Two years ago, I was at the game with two friends. We waited until the stadium was nearly empty to leave after the game. We were cussed by 4 different tech fans. One was maybe 10yrs old. His mother was laughing at her son.

Texas Tech fans, you are rude! You don't know the definition of sportsmanship. You are terrible hosts. You heckle and belittle your opponents and their fans, win or lose. You vandalize opponents buses. You make t-shirts with crude sayings and wear them proudly(I saw no less than 5 different shirts with vulgar references to Aggies yesterday).

I have been to about 15 games at Jones Stadium in the last 25 years. Nothing has changed. Texas Tech, your fans are classless. You are poor representatives for the Big 12 and NCAA football. Your students need to learn respect and manners. You are sore winners and even worse losers. Grow up and bring some respect to your program and university.

It is sad that I have to agree with Texag93, experiences in Lubbock are horrid.
Half of the stories I've heard make my jaw drop, and there is no defense I could ever hear that would prove to me otherwise.

All the no class remarks about are true. A very good friend went to the UT game last year with his wife and two very small children. He made the mistake of wearing a horns hat. He was cussed and had soft drinks poured on him as well as his children. While leaving someone threw a 9 volt battery and hit his son in the head.(4 yrs old). Lubbock PD told them in the parking lot it happened at every game. I grew up in W Texas and to this day my favoriye team is who ever is playing tech. VERY SAD!!!!!!

My son just called me about the game. He's a student trainer for the A & M team. Foul language, the finger, booin injured payers, manure in the bus..... just a few examples from classless tech thugs!
