Boil him down and put him in the flower bed by the front door sidewalk. I've got a couple of baldies mixed in too. They look great in there!

Well it's not rocket science. Everybody I've ever hunted with has kept every buck they've shot. If no shoulder or euro then they get skull capped and hung in garage or something, some spikes get
Made into pens, letter openers, or fan switches, etc...congrats on the great cull buck but it seems you're trying to take this thread in a different direction by posting about tossing it out..... Its your deer though so do whatever you want...

I've done a couple of euros and put them in my boy's room. They are decoration, but the boys play with them too. They think they are monster bucks!

I have one shoulder mounted deer.. I really like the look of a clean euro.

                  Euro that bad boy.

Edit: my neighbor back home has a wind chime made of antlers. Mostly lesser deer etc. It's one of the cooler things I've seen made with antlers. Use them to make a lamp or something if you don't want to Euro it.

There are people that will buy the antlers from and they use them to make the high dollar lamp and chandeliers that you see.

On non-trophy animals, I always do a skull cap/antler mount. I do it myself because it so easy, no bleaching, etc. . .
Buy a form from Van Dyke, find some suede or leather material to wrap around the form, make a nice plaque - I have less than $20 invested and I have the pleasure of knowing I did it all.

I have several bucks in that range on the wall as basic horn mounts and euros and was also thinking about trying something dif...This season I am chasing a few bucks in that range. Im thinking about just cutting them off at the skull plate and boiling and bleaching the plate real nice making them real white. Than getting a real nice cedar post and nailing 3/4 bucks on it going top to bottom and standing it up in the corner of a room, and engraving "2011-2012 Season" with a woodburner. Just an idea?

Again...apparently my original post wasn't clear. I DO NOT intend to toss it out. I have every buck I have every shot. I have shoulder mounts, euros, some I have skulled plated and some I have sawed the antlers off and tossed in my in my antler collection stack. This one, although a management buck, still seems to qualify (for me) for more than the antler collection stack. If I gave the wrong impression in my post, apologies for appearing to disrespect an animal. No way I could ever do that. Ever. My intentions were to get the suggestions that came in I hadn't thought off...flower bed, cedar post, etc. Thanks for those!

BTW. 'bout decided on the Euro
