Shot a management buck this morning. Raggedy antlers, no brow tine (never grew, not broken off) on one side, etc.. Old guy needed out of the gene pool. So...what would you do with the head? Feels like a shame to just toss it out but it would make a pretty goofy Euro. Doesn't appear there is enough mass to make decent rattling horns. What have you done with yours?

I do Euro mounts on all buck that I don't get shoulder mounted. That is a nice looking buck, he would look good in a Euro.Comment

i think he would look fine as a euro mount, but i would probably just cut the antlers off and do a wall mount with them. even though he isnt a huge antlered deer, taking any mature buck with a bow is a trophyComment
