Tommyh, thorthunder, Fishndude, Buff, and Bisch. I guess that speaks volumes for NAP. I personally like the 85 gr.

Here is a pic of a deer I shot last year with a Thunderhead 125gr. I know it is just a big bloddy spot and you can't tell about the size of the hole as far as looking at the meat but they do a great job as any sharp broadhead will do when placed correctly. This was a double lung shot.

I also shot them back in the 80s and early 90s... If not for RAGE I'd be shooting them still. But Rage, well get some and try them.

My son took 1 doe,2 javalina and 2 hog last weekend all one shot kills and all with Thunderheads. He is shooting them because he could not afford "Bloodrunners" and Thunderheads are what I had to give him. He is a believer for sure now...

I shot them for years, never had a bad experience with them. Took a few deer and dozens of pigs with no issue. I bought my first pack of them in 89 or so.

Like Smart said earlier, if it weren't for Slick Tricks, I'd probably still be shooting the Thunderheads.

That's the broadhead I started with back in the late 80's/early 90's. Fly great and they've been proven for years.

I bet there's been more deer taken with Thunderheads than any other broadhead.

I'm seriously considering going back to them, or at least keep one or two in the quiver.

You can't stay in business long with something that doesn't perform. Simple design, tried and true.. Like Blake said on another thread regarding Thunderheads, it's the K.I.S.S. broadhead!

I've still have half a dozen that are over 20 years old that will be put in service again soon. Great heads

Great proven product by NAP. I've killed over 50 deer with them. They don't fly well with my new bow however. Might be the shafts or blazer vanes. Definitely work better with large vanes as do most fixed blades

I have been having hell trying to get my slick trick magnums to hit the same place as my field points with a lighted nock on the arrow. Lighted nocks hit the same place with field points as do the plain nocks with field points or the tricks. Basically everything hits the same spot except the lighted nock/slick trick combo.
Last night I found an old 100gr thunderhead and put it on the arrow with the lighted nock. Hit the same place as everything else. Sure wishing I had not sold all of the thunderheads i had last summer.
I killed a few deer and lots of pigs and some javelinas with the thunderheads. With the exception of loosing a few blades when they hit something hard I never had any problems
