I killed lots of deer and hogs with Thunderheads in the past. I liked the Thunderhead Pro Series heads.

Thunderheads are great but I'm trying Magnus buzzcuts this year.

Killed a many a critter with em'

Only negs are aluminum ferrule and horrible blade retention if you hit bone. But they are priced right and fly great (if straight).

I've used them for 10 years now! I love em! I go to wal-mart once a year and buy a box of replacement blades and just switch out the old ones, that way I don't have to sharpen them.

Just started using em. Killed a sow saturday night. She ran 50-75 yds max. Had used 3 blade rages previously but got sick of the blades coming out when just barely touching a twig or side of the blind. I switched because I needed one less thing to worry about. I drew on a boar this summer in the dark and I barely touched the blade with my finger and a blade came out of position. I had to let down and put it back in place. That TICKED me off.

I know one thing for sure for all the advancments made in archery. I am not certain a set aluminum arrows with these broadheads are just as good as all the high tech crap out there now. I know they would cost about half the cost to build and set up.
That's exactly the reason I still shoot aluminum. And I don't have to worry about a carbon shaft blowing up and going through my hand.

I've killed dozens of animals with thunderheads. I think they areone of the best fixed blade replaceable blade BH on the market.

Started shooting em back in the 80's and have never switched. The wife and I have killed Many elk, deer ,hogs and one bear with 85 gr Thunderheads, I tryed the slick trick and it bent the blades on a hog

Started out with Satellite 125's and shortly thereafter switched to Thunderheads. Shot others through the years as experiments but today still have the quiver full of Thunderheads. Just switched from 125's to 100's about 15 years back. Never had one fail.
