3 months and not a single deer on my trail cam

I don't know if it's the heat or lack of rain but I haven't seen a deer or hog on my trail cams in THREE MONTHS, starting to think they just disappeared and have vacated to another piece of property. It's gonna be a long season.

I would make sure that camera works and if it does maybe try moving it?

Bummer. Maybe the rut will bring some bucks in searching for does.

What's goin on around ya? Our previous lease had a house or 2 go up on one side and another neighbor dug out the creek and ****ed up a pond. Our traffic really dropped, but we would still get at least a pic daily

That's a bummer. I believe I would rather have hogs coming in than nothing for three months. At least hogs will give you something to BUST! Sorry Man.

Check your cam. What is eating the corn? Or is the corn piling up?

I just re-read your original post. Is the cam even on a feeder?

Picked up the cameras in disgust, didn't have the money for a corn feeder this season since my last one didn't survive a run in with a big ol' hog. No idea if anyone else is getting pictures but what was a deer highway a couple of months ago has seemed to just dry up. No idea what's going on around me, I know they may be doing some thinning soon. Gonna move the cameras on October 1st since I could only be up there a few hours today. Probably will spend a good chunk of opening morning hunting a spot that was very reliable last year but is now fenced off and takes some work getting to.

And I'm in Polk county, the cameras were over two areas in a creek bed where multiple trails came together.

We are covered up at our feeders in corrigan , I would strongly suggest to beg, steal or borrow a feeder ASAP & get it going , they are hungry & there will be very little mast crop this year !!!!!

Yeah I'm gonna have to figure something out ASAP, they've gotta be munching on something from someone elses property.

Spread a bag of corn all around your area and they'll find it. Then just hand toss corn from time to time and they'll be looking for it. If your that low on cash go get a bucket bump feeder at academy or walmart for $15-20 , it holds 50 lbs.

Hmm...might just attach my motor to one of those then and hang it up. Thanks for the idea.

No need for a feeder. Just dump out a couple hundred pounds of corn. They will find it.

I would take the camera down all together. Not seeing pics will discourage you to even go out and hunt. I have two cameras I haven't set out for same reason. Plus I just like to be surprised with what I see.
