Picked up the cameras in disgust, didn't have the money for a corn feeder this season since my last one didn't survive a run in with a big ol' hog. No idea if anyone else is getting pictures but what was a deer highway a couple of months ago has seemed to just dry up. No idea what's going on around me, I know they may be doing some thinning soon. Gonna move the cameras on October 1st since I could only be up there a few hours today. Probably will spend a good chunk of opening morning hunting a spot that was very reliable last year but is now fenced off and takes some work getting to.
And I'm in Polk county, the cameras were over two areas in a creek bed where multiple trails came together.
there might be your answer, since everyone is feeding and natural browse is non existant the deer's travel pattern may have changed. they may not be using the same trails anymore. there re going to everyones elses feeder...just a thought
also like stated before someone may be messing around in your area, either peeing on the trees or they found your camera and are deleting your trail cam pictures.
not trying to hijack your thread, but im also in the EXACT SAME BOAT!! guy killed a 125" 11point last season on the last day of the season. he moved away and i got the spot he hunted. he took his feeder, camera, and stand.. which i replaced in the exact same spot and NOTHING. ive got a feeder spinning corn for 4 seconds at 7am and 7pm - nothing but coons. your right, its gonna be a long season...
