With deer season right around the corner and our awful drought what will yall be doing instead of sitting around a fire? Every deer season it seems like we sit by the fire until midnight or so but that wont be the case this year. How will yall pass the time during the long nights?

I'll head out to the field from home in the AM, hunt all day, then back home after dark to shower and cook and sleep in my own bed. Then repeat it all the next day .

That's how I roll as well. It is nice being an hour from door to tree

On public land they are saying even propane lanterns or propane grills are a no go.

All in the name of preventing forest fires....

our "forests" would pass for something else. and this falls colors are mostly already on the ground. i'll take no fires outside, forest or otherwise.
