I have not slept a single second without one after I got fitted. You might talk to your doc about a sleep helper until you gt used to it.

Try this web site for Apnea patients....Something to understand, wash your face piece every night or you will not have a good seal around your face. Also make sure your mask is the right size for you. Take your mask to your doctor and make sure he/she is fitting it to you. I find my mask seals better at the lightest I can get it.....

I slept with mine for about two hour! The next morning called my ears nose and throat doc and scheduled surgery the next weekend! I was laid up for about three days with recovery! Have slept like a baby every since!!!

Same here.... I haven't missed a day since I brought it home.

I just got it into my mind that it would save my life and I welcomed it.

Getting a good seal on a full face and keeping it through the night can be a problem.... If I go to bed with 2days of wiskers I have a problem... Also if I role over in my sleep it can dislodge the mask and leak as well...

It took me about a month to get us to mine but I feel your pain... Hang in there with it. Your quality of life will be better for it in the long run... I hear they make a machine now that is a breath on demand type. Might be worth looking into..

I had my tonsils removed, my bicarbonates( small channels in your nose) and had my upper pallet trimmed! The bicarbonates was because I had my nose broken several your ago! The trimming of the pallet was the part that really helped! I had severe allergies before surgery also, but one side affect I had was my allergies are nonexistent!

After my heart attack, @ 43, I quit the body shop and it took a couple of years to realize I never slept. I was diagnosed 4 years ago w/ apnea, I use nasal pillows, and im good, sleep like a teenager again... It took awhile to get used to it.. My problem is I had my nose broken twice and 25 years in a body shop...

Hope this continues to work for you. I had the same thing after i couldn't keep my CPAP on. Felt good for a little while but now i'm back to the way i was before surgery.

i quit the tobacco after the surgery and gained a "few" pounds, that probably didn't help.
