Honoring a fallen marine and friend to bowhunters

Some of you might remember Zach Kolda, an employee at Archery Country and friend to many. Zach was killed in Irag several years ago. He was a wonderfully outgoing individual with a contagious personality. He was a problem solver and intelligent beyond his years. He and his wife Arleen were an inspiration to all whose lives they touched and his loss was a terrible tragedy.

Zach's hometown recently dedicated a new elementary school to him. I thought it was appropriate to share this story on a day to remember those who sacrificed so much for us.

God Bless our Soldiers! I remember when this happened. Someone here TBH bought his bow if I'm correct?

God bless our soldiers and especially those who have sacrificed the ultimate. Too many times they honor their country with their lives. It seems almost cliche to say that the price of freedom is not free but it's true. Radicals of all kinds want to conquer America. Even Hitler had a plan to take over America. We had to fight to keep him out of America. Zach honored all of us and I am glad that he and his memory are being honored by the educational system. Instilling the values of freedom, honor, and love for America in our young will perpetuate the our desire to keep America free. Thank you Zach. May God bless you and may God bless America.

What an awesome tribute...thank you for posting and thanks to Zach for the ultimate sacrifice.

I'm not sure if this list is totally current, but if so, it would be awesome if 535 Texas schools were renamed in their honor.
