yes, out around Leaky, Garner State Park area there is quite a lot of them free range. I took a 30" male at about 20 yards 10 miles north of Leaky. Real hilly and rough country in that area.

I did the same thing in the same area only mine was 17", a ewe. They would spend about a month in the area and then we wouldn't see them til the next year.....I miss that lease.

Had a bunch of them on my last lease, near Bandera. Shot a real nice ram but didn't like the meat, so I never shot another one.
