Which video camcorder under $1200?

    I have the TM700 and love it! The only draw back thus far is software hasn't really caught up with the camera's ability.

    Additionally, you'll need to have a good computer. Especially if you are trying to do 60p.

    I bought EdiusNeo2 Booster for editing the video. I did a bunch of research before buying and basically found that this can almost do everything I need it to do and for less than the expensive bigger names out there. When I did my research I read from multiple "experts" that basically no software for the general consumer can handle 60p right now (now was early 2010). Many people claimed to be editing and outputting 60p footage, but the people that know a hell of a lot more than me were able to shoot holes in everyone's claims.

    My favorite feature is the time lapse. Bunch of cool things can be done with it.

    Here are a couple of videos/editing done with the TM700 and Edius software. Keep in mind that youtube kind of limits you on the upload. Both of these clips below look even better on DVD in HD.
