I will unscrew from a cooper pipe that is coming through the tile. Regular threads. Get a firm grip on it with your hands and twist. If that doesn't work then use a big pair of channel lock pliers.
No worries on scratching it because it is going in the trash.
Some of them have a set screw but I don't see it in the pics.
The new one has a set screw.
You will have to cut off the male threaded fitting from the existing pipe in order to slide the new spout over the pipe and secure with the set screw. They are usually an allen head or small phillips head.
