Convenient, and I'd look at it that way too if I were a UT fan. Well ten years from now let's see who is where. Every School has cycles. It used to be SMU as the powerhouse, UH had it's run, USC had one, Miami had one, and oh yeah..UT had one. I can also say that Michigan had one, Ohio St., Bama, LSU...many big schools. Heck, Tennessee used to be great.
Glad you had your run, now sit back and wish while others take control. Not saying it will be ATM, but it may be. Or may be OU, or Bama again, or Florida State. you follow.[/quote
FYI...Texas had 2 baseball titles in baseball in the 50's, 2 football titles in the 60's....one football and one baseball in the 70's....a baseball in the 80's with a near miss in football....2 baseball and one football in the 200's with two more near misses.

Wow..........sure glad I got to see it
My main point was it's very difficult for any college team/program to maintain that high of a level of production for a very long time. Look at Notre Dame. They used to be STRONG!!!!...now, making a come back from being pretty crappy. JMO!
