    Something in the attic!

My grandma gave me a call at about 10 last night. Something in her attic was stomping around, chewing, and hissing a storm. No idea what I'm up against, I assume possum or coon, and preparing to see babies too. The city won't do anything unless they are already trapped in a cage, and pest control charges too much, so I'm going in with a pellet gun and hoping I don't get rabies. Any tips?

    Welding gloves.
    Beer.
    Aim small, miss small.

I prefer the Rambo route and would take my bow.
Really though it sounds like nothing you cant handle yourself. G-luck

I would use a trap. It won't be good if it gets away and dies down in a wall.

            Yes!
This is required to be a live hunt.
Video if possible, pictures a must.
There have been some successful in home live hunts on here. I think Cajun Blakes was one of the funniest.
Good luck and be safe out there

Edit: Here it is. I still laugh everytime I read this

I liked the live hunt with the trail cam catching the mouse.

Does rat shot not damage the house? Didn't even consider that route, although I've only got a 22 rifle, no pistol.

The people in "The Exorcist" thought there was a pest in their attic also....

                  Just food for thought. :^)
If I didn't think my opinion was right, then it wouldn't be my opinion. So, any other opinion must be wrong, therefore stupid.

I had to put at least 10 pellets into a coon in the attic from a .22 benjamin. It wasnt pretty.

Most likely when you open the attic it will hide. I would set a trap near the opening of the attic and wait it out. The babies shouldn't give you much trouble.

depends on what kind of babies we are dealing with here

Live hunt is a must... I think .22 rifle with rat shot will be fine. We need pictures of your setup, and your feeder location.
