You got it and please send some my way as well.
Mom's been living with breast cancer 6+ years and she's fighting it holistically vs radiation or chemo. Radiation or chemo would kill her....it's all she has and the holistic treatments have probably prolonged her life to this point? She should have been dead by now based on breast cancer data metrics...guess her natural treatments are at least starving the cancer cells.
Pops had cancer and radiation treatments last year...colon cancer. They say he's clean and post treatment analysis has good numbers but........he's still worried.
Lost Grandpa and Aunt due to this disease.....sure hope one day it's a thing of our past.
God Bless!

just no good thing to say about cancer. wife has breast cancer. man, I hate those pink ribbons now! every one of them represents pain and suffering and hurting and loss for someone's mom, someone's sister, someone's wife.
well, you know what I mean... those ribbons are a reminder and do good. but I sure do wish we didn't need them EVER AGAIN!

man i feel your pain. My dad a Vietnam Vet with a purple heart. Took a bullet to the head and lived. He is also considered full agent orange. It only took them 10+ years and 3 cancers for them to finally classify him as agent orange
His first was a cancerous tumor on his kidney the size of a grape fruit. removed the kidney. Years later after numerous complaints to VA about his throat and nothing being done he got a health screen at our church. showed something wrong. went to his regular doctor and they diagnosed him with stage 3 mantel cell lynphoma. They couldnt get it all with surgey so he did chemo which was really rough because of the one kidney. Spent a couple of weeks in the ICU touch and go.
The third is a different type of cancer that is in the blood and managble by removing platelets i think. Which he still has the port in his chest from chemo that they use for this.
It was a very rough and scary time. As of right now he is in remission for almost 2 years but he will tell you to this day that he is not right and has not fully recoverd from the chemo yet
But all of this got a fire under my you know what to do all the things l was always to stubborn to do as kid and spend alot more time with my dad. And im lucky enough right now to be able to do it with him and can afford to cover it all with him along for the ride.
I feel your pain and prayers sent.

I heard something on the radio this morning - very profound - a lady called in talking about how much she missed her mother who passed from cancer a few years ago. She was finally able to have peace when someone told her - your mom is in such a great place, awesome place, that she would not want to come back. It is beyond what we can fathom. Our loved ones are in a place that we all want to go to, but we can only imagine what it will be like. We miss them and someday we will join them in that totally awesome place.

My dad was just considered 100 percent disabled due to agent orange. He is now making more retired than when working. He told me he would rather work than have to go through all the treatments and hospital stays. Boy ain't it something, when veterans have to go through hell again before they get some help.but at least he is getting help now.
