What I see a lot of is the music dosen't go with what's on the screen. I turn on the tv to watch the show. The music should be in the background, not the main draw.

You know that's probably the #1 reason I didn't watch them shows. Too loud! Spoils the hunting scene for me. I just don't like to hear the rock music during the hunt scene. I guess thats why I enjoy Primos Truth Bowhunting DVDs because they don't go overboard with the music and pretty much don't play any music during the hunt scene. I have 2-8 in their Bowhunting Truth Series.

What I don't understand {and this is true with fishing shows} all the shows are always out-of-state and really don't even hunt Texas. maybe I'm watching the wrong shows but, they are always in a state that I'll never be able to hunt.
And yeah the rock music is nothing I like to hear, unless its old rock music.

These days hunting shows, just about all of them regardless of music or comedic content, is my retreat from the trash that is reality TV and the other garbage on the big networks. I don't ever have to worry about whether what I am watching on the outdoor type networks is safe to be on when the kids walk into the room.
In think the issue with music being too loud is an issue with almost every tv show and movie out these days. I don't know if it's a product of my 40 year old ears or simply bad editing and engineering, but I often have rewind shows and movies just to make sure I catch all of the dialog.
And x2 on the Texas shows!
