Happy Friday evening, Macie! Hope you & your family have a great weekend. We're hopefully going to get to go do some scouting for next season in the SHNF next week. I can't wait to go hunting! We're praying for you!
Hey Macie! Just wanted to stop by and say Hi! Sure hope everyone is doing well! We are having a late night over here watching the movie "Brave", have you seen that one? It's pretty good! Have a good weekend sweet girl and tell your family hi from us!
Hey Macie, just dropping in to say hi! I hope you are doing fine this weekend. I'll be sending a few extra prayers for you and your family tonight. God Bless.
OK guys and gals, just told Keili the honey does could wait a few while I catch the family up.
As I said before, Ronna the main nurse we had, did not like the idea of having to put Macie into her TLSO support and ankle braces. I admit, it can be a pain, but after some practice its not hard. Well she did everything in her power, said she needed written Dr orders, to saying that she hurt her shoulder to keep from doing it. Also, while Macie was at TIRR they started giving her a little bit of real food twice a day. Ronna refused to do this also because we didn't have written Dr orders to do so. In a way, I understand, but a little common sense would have gone a long way. Plus you have to know Keili to understand. Keili is VERY hard headed and knows exactly what she wants for her little girl, don't do it and she ain't going to be happy. So those two combos hit head on and quickly went down hill. Plus, in the afternoons when Keili would get home, Macie was in a very grumpy mood, which is a change from before. In the end Ronna "suddenly got the stomach flu" and left last Monday and said she would be back on Wed. Then the company she works for called and said she would be out all week. Keili had had enough and told them no don't send her back.
So Tuesday they sent "the perfect nurse" able to do the lifting, only 20 min away, loved dogs, etc.... Ha! Completely the opposite in every one of those description. She did stay the day, but only because Keili had to be a work. So the company calls Tuesday and say they have a new one coming on Wed. We shall see. So Wed morning Keili takes Max, our very protective blue healer out side to meet Latricia, he greets her with the usual growl but not overly aggressive. HMM, maybe. So she comes in and he is still ok with her, wow. She is young and doesn't mind lifting Macie at all and can handle it with ease. Keili came home the first day to a smile on Macie's face and a happy nurse. She has only been here Wed and Thur but so far seems to be doing great. Keili is really happy with her and Macie seems to like her. Hopefully it will work out and she will stay. Oh and the other good thing is she lives in Brenham, only 20 mins away.
Macie is doing good, should have seen the smile when Harley went into her room yesterday after being gone for 2 weeks. Sure is fun to watch the two of them interact, especially knowing how bad they fought when they were younger.
We all knew how strong a women and mom Keili was before all this, but the last 2 weeks has proven it for sure. Remember, Harley, Tyler and I were gone to Ohio at a shooting match. So Keili had to deal with the nursing problem by herself, plus deal with a dog who is miserable because Harley and I are gone, plus feed Harley's show goats twice a day and feed the chickens (which she hates only because she is so fearful of a chicken snake being out there). So I think I have lots of making up to do.
We got home yesterday and found a box of goodies for Macie. Bubba1 sent her a box of Astro stuff, remember Macie is a diehard Astro's fan. Just another fine example of the TBH hospitality. Thanks again Bubba1
