I've never had 'em dig under mine. Not saying they can't or won't but they haven't.

No they don't dig under them. I don't have any pics. Sorry. All you do to make a gate is cut the very last vertical wire on the panel and then bend the horizontal wire around your tpost you want to make a gate. It forms a hinge. Then just wire the other end onto your existing fence.

I have had luck with electric fence set at 29" fawns go under and bigger deer jump. Cows stay away. have had pics of up to 5 deer inside electric fence

We use one 330' roll of 36" field fence and stretch it out into whatever shape we need trying to follow the natural tree and brush line. We only use as many t-post as required to keep the fence tight.

We don't have any hogs on our lease but we do have cattle and sheep. Without the pen there would be nothing left for the deer and turkey.

Thanks for the tips and pics TX Phil. I have to use hog panels due to the number of hogs and cows. Don't get me wrong, I would take a hog in a heartbeat but I have been wanting to bag a buck since I started bow hunting. I have a total of three set ups and I figure I will enclose one set up just to give me a better chance for that buck. Total kills to date is seven hogs, two 3-points and two spikes. Pretty bleak if u ask me

Silver....hog panels, cattle panels, and the goat wire/field fence pictured above all keep hogs and cows out. You do not have to specifically buy hog panels to keep hogs out.

Hog panels are just shorter panels with more vertical bars at the bottom.

We have several pens in goat wire as well and it is cheaper to make a bigger pen with it if you have trees for anchor points. See pics below. I'm not suggesting you not use hog panels, just know that you have several options.

Just wanna say a big thanks to all the TBH brothers who added to this thread. Just got back from down south and my feeder pen is up and I know the pigs and cows will stay out and the deer will be coming in. It's not perfect but it seemed pretty secure. Pictures will be up shortly.

then the goats, cattle and hogs eat all the corn. pens r must at my place. what we have started doing is using tpost cut to 36 inches and driving them into the ground then sliding pvc over them. then notching them and tying the pannels to them. then us a solar hot fence to heat things up. stops everything but the deer. even the coons. make sure u have a good ground

Don't usually have hogs on my bow place (only 1 year out of 4 for about a month before I "did" them).

But, I have horses, donkeys, and occasionally cows, so I build a 3-strand barbed wire pen with t-posts or trees, depending on the location. If in the open, I build a triangular pen about 30' on a side with a t-post in the middle of each side. You have to double up on the corners to keep the cows from leaning on it and walking through it. Have used my slingshot with good results teaching the cows that the pen is a no-no.
