Managed to quit due to an e-cig , nicotine gums and patches didn’t work for me at all (didn’t know these are addictive). I think vaping somehow is able to substitute emotional addiction, meanwhile physical addiction from nicotine is weaker and disappears after 2 weeks since giving up.

I gave it up in November of 2009. The anticipation of knowing I was going to quit when I ran out of the last case I bought was actually worse than quitting. I had been chewing for 25 years and quitting was not as bad as I thought it would be. Quitting was one of the best thing I have done. ..... Good luck.
