One day I just decided to quit it...and cold turkey at that. I don't miss it now unless I run across the smell of a freshly started 2 cycle outboard....

It was tough for a few weeks but it can be done. Good luck...

      .

4 strokes make you miss that, but they are quiet.

I gave up Copenhagen cold turkey.

I hear that! I switched from Grizzly to vaping and for 3/4 of the year I'm set. Come September 1st, there's nothing better than a good pinch of dip.

I was chewing 3 bags a day glad I quit. I just chewed my last bag about 9 years ago.

Simple. Just quit. Try all the alternatives you like. You either quit or you don’t. I used to buy a carton of Red Man every Friday. After a thorough teeth cleaning and a lecture from the dentist I quit cold turkey.

You can do it. Set your mind to it. Don't buy it anymore.

I'm afraid if I quit then I will have to start kissing her goodnight and god help me good morning too.

That would be a $30+ per day habit now. I remember when I used to buy a bag of chew if I couldn’t afford Copenhagen. Now chew is almost twice as much.

Holy 8 year thread revival....what would make a nubbin buck come across a thread from 8 years ago? You own a vape shop?

And is vaping really good for you making it a good way to quit?? Doesn't seem like it if you read some of the information out there....

I guess its been about 10 years since I quit copenhagen, dipped for 35 years, was up to a can a day easily, I just went cold turkey one day, was not planned, I did chew the crap out of gum for awhile, now not so much. The first week was the toughest, after that it was a piece of cake. Good luck

Dipped Copenhagen for 25 years. Quit cold turkey as well.
It’s been around 5 years now. I have several hunting buddies that dip and I still love the smell of it...
