        I imagine I'll head back to Eric's a couple times in the next few years chasing them. Hopefully I can pull a 40-50 out of there. Eventually I want to chase the big boys in Alaska/ Yukon.

          I think what Rocky means is that early in the shot there is a lot of oscillation in the arrow (think S curves) and as it travels downrange it straightens out and the energy is moving it forward instead of side to side. My apologies if I'm wrong Rocky. If you watch a slo mo of an arrow being shot I think you can see what I mean.

                  i can say true. the funny part, i dont bow hunt. but have watched many things take shape after the first event. a .50 bmg round will not start to come on line untill about 200 yards from barrel. the rear end is not stable untill that point.

                                great video! I had a nice bull come in to about 25 yrds in Maine, but we only had a cow tag. I moved my arm slowly to let him know I was there before he decided to come over and step on me or worse. that is definitely a rush to be close to a moose.
