World Record Moose

Something strange about this footage. I timed him holding for 55 seconds during the first camera angle, but only 45 in the second which starts out even earlier in his draw-down. Why would they have edited any of it out?

I don't think they have the best eyesight. Also, I am sure his is during the rut so he is "stupid" too.

I couldn't imagine how intense it would be to have a moose of that size or any size within3 yards of me.

It looks like he hit a tree limb based on the angle of the arrow. This would explain both the lack of penetration and shot back. I think I hear a tick during the shot but I'm not sure.

During rut they get that way, rut crazed. You could be wearing LSU colors doing jumping jacks and if you had convinced them your a moose bh calling and they get in that phase the camp won't matter.
Ask my wife, she has a Hell of a story and we're lucky she made it out alive.

I think at that range, the arrow has not developed momentum, and/or hasn't lined out good yet, inhibiting penetration.
