Is purchasing the "Furminator dog brush" worth it?

I was looking at http://www.furminator.com/ and that furminator tool seems to work good as far as what the site says, but does it really work?

Those of you who have them, let me know how good they work, thanks

Yes they are worth it BUT buy it from ebay. I bought mine for $18 shipped. It's the real deal and not a knock off. It's saved tons of hair from being ground into the carpet and ran through my sweeper.

Worth every penny! You won't regret it. Spend the extra money and get the largest size.

That's what we did...we use it on the lab and beagle. The beagle actually lays down like she's getting a massage! It's my wife's dog....

My lab is shedding like crazy right now. I bet I filled a grocery sack full of hair 3 different times last week!

I didn't know you could get them on Ebay. Thats a good tip cause I think they are around$50.

Yeah...I took mine to Kansas this last weekend. My mom has a chow....she's molting if that's what it's called....I literally filled up a 30 gallon trash bag full of hair!

You're good! I got my large one off of EBay for $18 total.

My Lab and two Wirehaired Dachshunds line up for their turn. Well worth $60 they charge at pet stores but even better at $18!

Been looking at these too. Our lab is loosing hair by the handfull.

So for a lab do you get the large short hair or large long hair?
                      Does it really matter?
