We're driving down and actually staying with Videographer for a few days. Katie and Courtney are going to be bowfishing for rays in Tampa Bay on the way back and there might be a hog hunt or two in there. Camera guy is flying into Tampa to video all the fun on the way back, rays, hogs whatever comes!!

Go to Bo's fish wagon they have the best conch fritters...and some fresh fish at great prices. Key West brings back lots of memories. Ride a moped

There is an awesome place to eat on an island cross from Mallory square...you have to take a boat ride to get there. Seaplane ride to dry tortogas is awesome.

              Key West

Siboney's - local Cuban restaurant - awesome - inner neighborhood Key West - wait line is worth it..........

B.O.'s Fish Shack - Best grouper fish sandwich you will ever eat. I hope it is still there in the corner of a parking lot. Owner used to be mayor of K.W.

              Tampa

Forget seafood and go right to Bern's Steak House - Classic

              Enjoy!

If you are going to fish the keys. Make reservations in advance and fish the Marquesas. Good chance of landing the triple crown. Beautiful waters.

Id have to talk to my buddy to remember the name of the place but if you want to fish on the cheap theres a guy who will rent you a boat, gps, map, and tackle for $200 all day. He doesnt go with, just said be back before dark. I think it was just past boca chica. We caught yellowfin and barracuda

I just got back from KW on Friday. I was there on my honeymoon.

I didn't read the whole thread, so forgive me if I repeat anything.

The highlights of our trip were:

                        1) Hotel - The Marquesa
                        2) Sailing/Snorkeling/Kayaking - Danger Charters
                        3) Food - Caroline's and Blue Heaven were both GREAT restaurants...the edge goes to BH

If I had the $$$ to go fishing, I would've gone in a hearbeat. Apparently the success rate is really good....and there are a lot of boats to choose from.

As far as historical sights. Hemingway's House, The Lighthouse, and the Southernmost House are all pretty cool. Check out the 6-toed cats at Hemingway's.

The beaches aren't all that great.

I heard the Ghost Tour is pretty freaky. The Scientific one, not the hokey one with the guys that dresses up.

As for KW as a whole, we were there Monday-Friday. I think 2-3 days would've been plenty. I would describe the town as New Orleans meets San Francisco meets Cancun.

Biggest regret is that we didn't go to Dry Tortugas. It eats up an entire day.
