Nyala mount ideas needed

I'm about to begin the process of having my Nyala mounted and am looking at some ideas fora full body mount. I came across this one and really like the looks of it.



I thought I would reach out to the TBH folks to see if you had any other ideas. I'm not a fan of fake dirt, but the rock thing seems to work pretty good.

If your not a fan of fake dirt, then I would recommend real dirt.

I'd go with #1. I've also seen one done by woodburys that was all puffed up (like when they encounter a new male in the area), but that's hard to maintain.

Humper, I am in the same boat as you in looking at full body mounts for my Nyala. Here is a company out of RSA that has a full page of full body mounts and I have been looking at these to determine what I want and hopefully having my taxi matching something close. i shot mine down by the river in the reeds, so any rocks are probably out for me, although the 2 posted above are absolutely brilliant.

Blake's pic. That mount looks unreal.

I would rather shoot one of those than any other african animal. Plain beauty to me.

I didn't even notice the bird on the back leg in the first pic! I like the arrangement in the first pic as the habitat doesn't over power the Nyala.

i like the front leg raised in Blake's better than the back leg in yours...kinda looks like he is getting ready to take a whizzzz or something worse
