Leson learned moving feeders!

Lost our lease and went to move everything. Feeder legs were all stuck in the ground from the rain of last year. One of them in particular broke free and was falling and I just reacted and as my hand was going up, it met feeder coming down. End result was severely broken ring finger. I straightened it out and went back to work-albeit complaining the whole time! Knew it was bad but thought what the heck it is just a finger. Four days later my wife made me go get it X-rayed and sure enough it w as bad. One surgery and three pins later it still hurts. Not happy but part of it. Not sure if this pic will do it justice.

Beauty of this kind of injury - it never goes away. I've had several broken fingers from all the Martial Arts I did when I was younger. Now that I'm bumpin' up against 45, some days I can feel the digits throbbin.'

Good luck ... and do all the rehab the doctors prescribe.

Yep the Dr. said it would never be the same. I actually broke it lengthways and the break went thru the knuckle. I still have no feeling on the inside of the finger. Sill have the big pin in. It goes thru the bone. The smaller two pins went thru the knuckle and they took them out last Wednesday. B the way-I am NOT very pain tolerant! Biggest 350lb baby you've ever seen!
