Cant do any hunting until we get all the new pipe laid under the hunting cabin up there to get some running water again... 80 or so foot in some tight places... es no bueno

Glad to see I'm not alone, was getting worried that no one else was thinking about hunting anymore. I enjoy it all year long, waiting for that cool Oct hunt! Wanted to put in for some out of state hunts this year but couldn't get in on a deal with some other fellas. I will next year, getting some ideas on a Kansas trip but idk. May go back to Missouri but depends on the situation at the time. But just the same, I'll be content here at home and hoping to get a bonus trip (Hag). I want to go Illinois,Kansas or Iowa so bad, and Wyoming or NM on a mule deer hunt, maybe someday!

I'm heading to the ranch Friday for some culling. I'm trying to get my wife and my buddy's wife their first bow kills. Goin to shoot a bunch of fallow does, a bunch of aoudad, and an oryx or two.Comment

Going up in 2 weeks. Have not been there since January. I kinda retired from hunting. Taking a heard of kids and folks. Gonna do a couple of midnight bunny hunts. The Dogo has never been on one and I think I will be picking cactus out of her for 2 days....

Oh and I just made a 10 round (ok its 11) mag for my new AR out of a 30.
Dont want to carry around all that ammo just to shoot once.
