Let's talk hunting

Anybody want to talk about hunting? Hagerman? Hog hunts? Anything about hunting, food plots, protein feed, archery, rifle, something please, this other stuff is getting out of hand, I need some hunting topics please.. Lol, anyone else already desperate for the season to start?

I was going to go chase hogs out by Purtis Creek this evening. I think I'll wait until Friday now.
I walked the place a bit yesterday and put out some hand corn. The landowner told me it was all gone this AM.

Rain ought to be good for my food plots. Got mostly peas for deer and millet for dove.
TPWD has not updated their site for 2011-2012 seasons yet. I think I saw a countdown for opening day as 142 days until October 1st.

I am happy to report that I found some fine gentlemen right here on TBH to fill some spots we had on our lease. Looks like its gonna be a good year. Oh and I hog hunted last night, but didn't see any. That's why they call it huntin' and not killin'.

I can't wait for the season opener to start, gonna head to the ranch in the next month and do some work. Cut some cedars, set up new blinds, fill feeders again, put out TCs, have fun, HUNT!

My son and I were planning on hog hunting tonight, still may if storms pass. I sure we get some good rains, I also have peas and millet out. Haven't checked them lately but I know they need a drink real bad! I got my Hag appl sent in and got my fingers crossed. Good luck to everyone!

Two new trail cams coming in tomorrow. My birthday is next week so thinking about ordering a couple battery packs and solar panels for them. Happy birthday to me.

I cant wait, less than 2 months and Wyoming draw results will be out for mule deer and antelope tags.

Well, season around here is a total bust. Lost all my spots.
SO...I've got my trip to Maine in late August for bear, then I'll be planning a trip to TX for Oct/Nov!

Anyone want to donate a whitetail hunt to some poor elk/deer/antelope hunter...
I'm sure we could work out a deal for the following season...

i have been laying some pigs down with my new M4 lately and putting up new tree stands out at our lease. Heading out to the ranch I manage/guide on tonight to do some scouting for some world class axis we have this year. Getting ready to film another episode with rusty baker outdoors in a few weeks. Gotta get my eyes checked though.....the computer is saying we have a good chance of rain....can anyone help me out on filling me in what that is?
