My neighbor's Rhino is so loud you need ear plugs. I think they are probably all loud to a degree. I like the hose idea if that works?! We looked at the new six seater this weekend. Looks like a nice new model.

Go ahead and stick with your Rhino. Last weekend, I hauled 24, 40 lb. sacks of deer corn out to the feeders. FYI, that was made in ONE trip. Oh, I almost forgot, the all-wheel drive worked great with the push of one button.
4-wheelers are one thing, but UTV's are another. I don't know anyone who has not been pleased with their Ranger.

I'm going on my 7th season with mine and it's still the most dependable off road vehicle I've ever owned.

Maybe I'd better trade in before I have problems.
The one we had started acting up after about year 3 or so. And after that it just keep breaking on us. The only thing that didnt break was the rear ends. And we didnt abuse it or anything we just used it everyday also it was used on the road a lot too though so that might have been some of the problem. The tranny is not made for having real good traction it needs some slip in the tires.

The mules are really good. We had one on a farm I worked on for years. It was one of the first ones they made. And I believe it is still going strong.

I think it depends on the "one" you get!! Our mule (3010 trans 4X4) is way quieter than anyone of our friends mules, and it's way quieter than any rhino, prowler or ranger that I've heard so far!! Now I have also heard rangers that were way quieter than some mules and rhinos and some rhinos that were quiet also!! again I think it depends on the "one" you get so you might want to test drive them before you buy it to get the quietest one!! Just my .02!!!

Get the Bad Boy buggy. The Ranger 700 is nice. I think I going with a Jeep for the price.

Man, we hunt in some nasty stuff in the Trinity river bottom and for all the UTV's we had out there, there's nothing that will stay with a ranger. I don't like the whine of the tranny, but those thing will flat out work circles around any of the other vehicles in that class. If you do get one, I'd recommend the lift kit and the larger tires. If you're in the Houston area, I'd highly recommend Genes Power Sports (formerly Gene's Polaris) at the 800 mile marker on I-10 East of Baytown. Best place in the world to go try one out. He's got hundreds of acres there and is glad to have you try one. Also the Honda place and Arctic Cat places are right there too... great service department too.

Gene's is where I got mine.

As far as lasting long My Sportsman is 8 years now and is still going strong. Like I stated earlier unless you are going fast to me the tranny noise is not a problem, but once you break say 40mph in high range then it sounds like my old 57 Willis. In low range it starts to get loud at about 15mph on mine. I am sure that there is a lot of good UTV out there but for me the Ranger fit the bill.

The new RZR caught my eye

I have a 2000 Kawasaki Bayou 220. It was my frst ATV and I bought it when it was new. I get deer camp jokes all the time about how small it is but it's done everything I've ever needed it to do. I was planning on driving that thing untill the wheels fell off...UNTIL.....

This thing has really got me wanting to pull my wallet out. I saw one a few days ago and it looks like a lot of fun. I think it probably needs a bed extender on it for hunting. I really only use my ATV during hunting season so it's hard for my to justify buying a new one, but dang....

HAve any of you guys seen this thing? I don't know much about Polaris but I hear they pretty good machines.

                        Get a YAMAHA!
We dont own a Polaris Ranger, but our neighbor has one and I have driven it A LOT. It does seem loud to me, but to start off its geared to high in my opinion.

Wow! That buggy looks pretty cool. I like the Mule I purchased. Polaris machines are worth thier price for sure.

We use both the Ranger 6 wheeler and 4 wheeler and have never considered the noise. If you are concerned, just go to your stand the night before, sleep in the blind and by the next morning the deer should have forgotten all about the noise . I would recommend these machines to anyone.
