    Lost A Good Dog Today

MY NEIGHBORS CATAHOULA KILLED MY RAT TERRIER. I CAME HOME FROM WORK TO THIS BAD NEWS. WE GOT HIM AS A PUPPY WHEN MY SON WAS BORN. MY SON TURNS SEVEN SATURDAY. I LET MY TEMPER GET THE BEST OF ME THIS EVENING. IF YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE DOGS BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THERE ACTIONS!!! THE ONLY SOLUTION I SEE NOW IS GIVING HIS A DOSE OF LEAD POISIONING. WE HAVE A LITTER OF BLUETICK PUPS ON THE WAY. THEY WILL BE HERE IN NOVEMBER, I HOPE A PUPPY WILL MAKE MY SON FORGET OL "JAKE".

Sorry to hear about your loss.

Makes it even tougher when they go like that.

Sorry for your loss, losing a family pet is hard.

I have a catahoula and he is whole hearted and friendly as can be, to every dog around, i wonder what the deal was.

That sux, had rat terriers growing up. Two of them were hurt badly in dog fights. One was bit nearly in two when she attacked our big red mutt dog. They tend to bigger on the inside than the outside. Good luck with the blueticks.

Oh man, that's tough...sorry to hear it. What did your neighbor have to say about it? Did he/she offer compensation (not that that would console you)?

Sorry to hear about your loss.

They are like family and good hunting friends and it sad when they go.

Good luck with the new litter.

Sorry to hear about that, Copperhead. That is a really sad story. How did the owners of the Cat respond?

Generally, this is a lack of proper socialization before the dog turns 1. Socialization with people and dogs and cats is very important.

Sorry to hear that, it would be tough not to let your temper get the best of you in that situation.

I hope the new pupies will ease you and your sons pain.

Dogs and kids cause more problems between neighbors than anything else in the world. Try to contain your anger and act responsibly.

I am so very sorry for your loss and it's understandable that you lost your temper. If I had lost my dog like that I too would have. Prayers are going out for you and your family!

I understand the anger and I would too be expecting a the neighbors dog to suffer from a little lead poisoning...
