No oil, no fighting.... Just my oppinion.... It is a little odd that all the conflicts are with oil bearing countries.

If it's about oil we're not doing a very good job because I don't remember us taking any of it.

I'm afraid this is a mistake. I'm going to guess that they have figured a way to keep out pilots from flying over Lybia so we are just going to shoot missiles and let the French and British fly the hard missions. But I will think this will be a mistake.

did not mean to imply we were there to take out muslims...it just so happens that the overwhelming majority of those who start crap in those countries are muslim....and hence, the overwhelming majority of those killed in these skirmishes are muslim.....

what I am not implying but will come right out and say is there seems to be a repetetive pattern with muslim countries, dictatorships and maniacal regimes....

So the President wants to save lives? What took him so long to come up with this? Polls? Nice way to go about it. "I guess it time we get involved but I'll go on vacation while I'm at it. The war will be there when I get back." Thought this thing was to far gone for us to get involved. Why Libya and not Eygipt? Think this is a bad idea.

We would be MUCH more heavily involved in Mexico...

And would have taken greater interest in Sudan...

maybe I am wrong on this but isn't Halliburton a SERVICE company? ie, they are not a SUPPLY company such as Exxon, Texaco, Royal Dutch Shell, etc....
