oh he's definately 200 plus. probly more like three though. Just look at his proportionment. Hogs filled out that way are usually more mature boars therfore going over a healthy 200 easy.

I have 2 hogs in my pen right now that are in the 300 lb range. One weighs 302 the other 296. I buy them buy the pound, so I weigh them when they are brought in. You can't tell for sure by the picture, but I would bet that this hog weighs at least 250, and probably close to 300. Don't know if I would be an expert on the subject, but I deal with them every day. That,s how I make my living. MY .2 cents worth.

Kevin, I hate guessing on hog weight but I would say that hog weighs around the 250 mark. I have only seen one hog in person that weighed over 300, which he bottomed out a cotton scale, and it filled up a truck bed. This guy may push 300, but I would bet closer to 250. I have an idea, go shoot it and let us know.

As far as judging him with the feeder, you can't. Who knows high it is from the ground up. Besides, he's up to his belly in mud anyway. He's a good hog for sure. And a solid one at that. But 300 lbs!!! A 8 month old calf can weigh 400 lbs and 50 in high. That's over twice the height some are saying about the hog. 2 years ago I shot a 230 lb deer. I thought that Kansas deer was huge. 2 days later, another guy in camp shot one that went 300 lbs. Made my deer look like a yearling. Just comparing those 2 in my head with that pic, naaaaaaahhhh!!

I just talked to my buddy that sent me the picture. He said that with the mud, when the deer are eating out of the feeder, they have to stretch their necks up to get to the spouts.
He said on dry ground, the spouts are above his waist ... and yes, he's taller than me ... somewhere around 6'-3".
