easily at least 250. I have killed many hogs that big and he may be pushing 300 live weight.

wacm, this ain't no east Texas pig ... he's one of them southern boys!
I think the one in front of him would go around 90 lbs. It's a big difference, but there's a big difference in size too.

i should have explained myself better. the hogs we have around the sabine river bottom are all built like this pig. you see very few pigs around here that have color to them. and their body structure is the same. these pigs are an older generation of wild hogs. as generations pass, hogs take on more russian characteristics. like this hog. he is a great hog dont get me wrong, but im gonna stick with my guess. i compare a 300lb pig with this kind of body structure to a 160 or 170 inch whitetail. it is giant. ive shot probably a hundred hogs, ive killed one that dressed 267 at the Matodor WMA, but she was red and pregnant. just my opinion, good luck on that dude!

This boar field dressed 261. The pig in your pics definitly looks bigger.

Hes a good 300 lbs I'd guess. Hit him quartered away and low. His vitals are more forward and lower than a deer's. The plate comes up form the shoulder joing then sweeps back pretty abruptly. Standing broadside I'd hit him mid way up straight above the shoulder. With the plate sweeping back you should hit over the top of the plate. He's a bruiser. I see a curl in his lip...bet he's got good cutters...he'd make a great mount! Something like this one I got last Feb. He weighed nearly 300 on the nose live weight.
Did the skull myself. It was the first skull I've ever done. What a pain! Good luck with that bruiser. Remember to aim low and more forward than on a deer. Hitting him 4" behind the shoulder could leave you on your knees following a very faint blood trail for hours. The dont tend to bleed well at all. All that fat and sinew fills the holes and stops most bleeding. They bleed out inside. I've literally killed hogs where there was no blood trail at all but there they are. Then when I dress them out it's like a crimson swimming pool inside. Low and forward will definately minimize your tracking. I learned the hard way!

I have to agree. If he goes over 200, it won't be much. The other 2 pigs probably go 50 lbs and it's easy to see that big hog is almost 4 times as big. Do the math.
I've seen a lot of hogs and the people who killed them ALWAYS over estimate the weight. The last one for example, this guy swore his hog weighed
150 lbs. The ranch manager said maybe 85. Everybody started betting on the actual weight. They put him on the scale. Total weight was 68 lbs. I was off by 2 lbs. Not saying I'm an expert by all means. Just saying looks can be decieving. 300, don't think so.
