Hunted 2500 acres in Uvalde for 4 years and shot 3 deer over those 4 years, I only saw 5 deer throughout all 4 years, they destroyed 14 feeders completely, they are honestly the worst animal to have on a piece of property, and feeder pens will not stop them, believe me, if your gonna stay on the place don't even waste your time or money with putting up feeder pens.

Took my friends co2 BB pistol to my nearest to camp feeder one afternoon and shot the big white male SG in the cods several times B4 he could get out of range. You think one or two BB's to the jewels would do the trick, but not quit the reaction I was hoping 4.

I guess we have some well manered goats.. That do not bother us that much..

Before you start looking for another place to hunt, talk to the landowner and see what his long term plans are with them.

Just dont hit em in the ear! I had to chase one down on foot/jeep one day that mysteriously had an arrow lodge in his ear canal!
Wow. First time for me to spit out water reading the GS! Thanks!

I have never really hunted a place with goats so how bad is it going to be? One of our guys already got off because of he cant stand the goats. So give me some insite on what we are in for
The goats will be living hell to paint on trucks left by a feeder, they will live under feeders, they will over graaze the area, the goats will stand on there hind legs to use there horns or toungues to spin the corn feeders, if you have feeder pens they will jump inside them n caca all up and down the hogh dollar deer protein, they will get insdie your camp and eat or caca on everyhting, they love to jump on new trucks bed roof hood and then find another truck to destroy, i feel sorry for you guys to tell the truth, best thing is find another lease with no goats or sheep in the written lease. Its a safe bet its overgraed and a sorry place anyways so find a better lease.

i know some of you have had a hard time with the goats, but having a few hunts busted was all we had happen. They never messed with my stand or my vehicle or even my feeder. I have 34" hog panels up and they have never jumped in. They are loud and innoyance, but other than that, no big deal.
