Do what ya gotta do Bossman. We'll be here when you're done but please, please, please keep her running for the next two days. Two days in a hotel sucks but two days in a hotel without TBH would REALLY suck
the R# is a RAID configuration for the different drives in a server, all SCSI. the Array controller can make mirrored drives, contiguous large drives by combining drive space into one large partition, or all kinds of other neat and expensive redundency. it doesnt backup data, but it does allow for uptime in case a drive fails. it allows you to replace the drive affected with a new one and the Array can rebuild itself with a minimal hit to performance.

this just addresses the hardware side, because a drive doesnt care what gets stored on it, as long as the OS knows where to get the data from. When the data corrupts, thats when the headaches of backup recovery comes into play, and how far back the corruption was backed up.

I would of but generally most latrines are taller than him so he wouldn't be able to reach it. I guess there are always those which are dug into the ground...

Did someone mention HH, golf, Bryan, and a day...is there something going on this weekend?

Nope, nothing going on ... just make sure your Segway stays charged and keep track of those donuts!

I'm bringing this back up as a reminder, since we had an "episode" over night.

FYI, Scott has the server in hand and working on the configuration. The plan is to migrate the site in the next few days, probably over the weekend. Again, hopefully we can avoid extended down time, but we'll try to update as Scott progresses.

Thanks again for your patience and understanding.
