Am I crazy ?

I'm only 19 so take this for what you think its worth but..
IMO 100 acres isn't necessarily a big enough plot of land to sell weekend hunts or lease it. You could easily run into difficulties with people you lease it to, and with 100 acres problems could easily arise from hunters that could mess up a whole season (too much four wheeler riding, shootin up the land, etc). Maybe sell a hunt or two out of season for pigs ( and turkey too, if you have the population to support your own bird hunting and others).

As far as the friend goes, I think it would be a little out of the question to try and charge him. I think that doing work on the lease is a big help, and sometimes better than payment of cash. He is your friend, and I would want to see my good buddy take a deer on my place, especially if he put in some time out there to improve the place.

Also, you may not have wanted to "call him out" so to say, but putting a thread with his picture on a forum that he is a member of? Certainly you would have realized he would have seen this if he frequents the GS... Kind of a put down to him, calling him out in a way.

I am beginning to sense a ploy...

Well it started off with me fuming over the first post then thoughts like never going back he’s an a_s_ole for posting this crap etc.
And as more people posted I was feeling redeemed and grateful that the public opinion seemed to be in my favor.
But after he came over I realized this is not him talking it’s the wife causing this whole rift of issues
I began to understand that it truly was taken out of context and decided to fan the fire a little bit.


He’s really a good guy and were still friends
I'm not to fond of his wife though

I think we learned some valuable lessons here boys


1. Don't let your wife get involved with your hunting situation unless she actually hunts

2. TBH dog piles are fun unless you are on the bottom

3. Burnadell is itching to whoop someone

1. I agree seems she does hunt shoes though
2. I agree if it works out in the end.
3. Burnadell I can tell you where his wife works that might solve some issues.
