For 2 years we fed the 3/32" range cube pellets to our deer in the protein feeders. I'm not sure why, but we saw a big decline in body weight, antler development, and fawns the next Spring's.
Been feeding ADM Rack Plus for the past 5 years and seen great improvement in the herd.
We will not feed range cubes to our deer any longer and haven't for several years.

It's fun to use those big range cubes for throw down feed when you are hunting... It's comical to watch those deer pick up the big ol cubes and chew on 'em... They will look like they are smoking a cigar or something and roll their heads around all weird and such... quite entertaining... Other thing is I like to shoot a deer with my bow when its head is up and the deer will have their head up chewing on the cube a lot more than just down vacuuming up corn... makes for an easier shot when they are somewhat distracted as they are chewing on that big ol cube... I like the 3/4 or 1 inch cubes for this... and as Ragin said, the catfish like 'em too... cheaper than catfish food... I feed my fish some with 'em.
Oh yea, coons LOVE 'em too... that's the only down side... If you want to attract deer with something coons don't eat, use alfalfa... if you don't have cattle or javelina.
